Veneer dryer is one important equipment for drying peeled veneer moisture. The original veneer sheets moisture is high, it is not suitable for making plywood; this is the reason why drying it.
The 4-layer roller-type veneer dryer heating principle:
The boiler heats the thermal oil, which in turn heats the radiator fins. A fan draws in hot air, which is then expelled through the exhaust duct, creating a hot air spray effect (similar to a hair dryer). Water vapor generated during drying is expelled by the dehumidifying fan. During the cooling phase, the fan draws in natural air, or cold water is injected into the radiator fins. Drying should be done perpendicular to the fiber direction, with the radiator running vertically. Shrinkage issues after drying veneer can be adjusted on the rotary cutting machine.
1. Hot oil heated by the boiler flows to the radiator.
2. The radiator releases heat. A fan blows the heat into the hot air. The hot air then enters the exhaust duct.
3. The bottom of the exhaust duct has many small holes. Hot air is blown out through these holes to dry the finish.
4. Humid air and water vapor are formed during the drying process. The dehumidifying fan expels this humid air from the dryer.
