Plywood production lines are core facilities in the wood processing industry, which transform logs into high-quality plywood products through multiple processes. A typical plywood production line includes the following key links:Log processing: After peeling and cutting, the logs enter the rotary cutter to be processed into continuous veneers.
Veneer drying: The wet veneers are passed through a dryer (steam or hot air) to reduce the moisture content to 8%-12% to ensure the quality of subsequent gluing.Veneer sorting and repairing: The dried veneers are classified by grade, and the defective parts are repaired or spliced to optimize the utilization rate.
Gluing and assembly: The veneers are coated with environmentally friendly adhesives (such as urea-formaldehyde resin or phenolic resin) and assembled according to the cross-grain arrangement.
Hot pressing: The assemblies are sent to the hot press, glued and cured at 100-120℃ and 10-15MPa pressure to form a stable structure.
Trimming and sanding: The pressed boards are trimmed and sanded to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface flatness.
